Inexperienced STA travel agent booked me on a Qantas flight to LAX five hour stop over then flying with Aeromexico to Mexico City and finally Havana, Cuba. Same on the Return.
She told me I have to collect my luggage/check in again at LAX, is this true? Help!

Everyone landing in USA from Australia has to collect all baggage and clear customs. Once thru customs as your airlines don't have an alliance you need to take all bags to check in and start again.
