I'm 50 hours into this and I'm still not finished with the main story.

    Definitely worth a play.

No thanks. 8 hours is the perfect length for a game for me. Anymore and I know I won't have time to finish it.

Far Too much padding and grinding in many games today.

  • Is this PS4 only?

    • No, I'm playing it on PC.

  • What's with all the PS4 games dropping in price so quickly?

    • Nah there's a new version of the game coming out with all the DLC and the demo game that came out first

    • Could be pushing VR version on most of the games, especially Driving and FPS types.

  • Says product not available - expired already ?

  • Is this in store or online only which is showing unavailable?

Terrible game compared to its predecessors.

      They're all diamonds

    • It's a great game that wasn't finished. The second chapter, incomplete. The third chapter, missing. We've seen partial artwork, assets, and cutscenes for the Lord of the Flies area, but it was all cut at the last minute.

Gameplay is top notch. What is there, is easily the best Metal Gear ever. But sadly so much is missing. And it's obviously missing too. Not in the acceptable "we'll leave this plot line unexplained for the next game to pick up on". But clearly in the sense of "we intended to finish this part of the story arc but you know… 7 years development cycle… so we just released what we had".

I can't agree with you that it's "terrible". But it certainly left a bad taste in my mouth. Such a wasted opportunity. Especially seeing as the rumours are the development cycle wasn't really 7 years - more like 3 years - and another 12 months would have finished everything to perfection. Kojima is a bad project manager but his ex-bosses at Konami are equally to blame for this unfinished symphony.
