For those that bought one of these bargains there is a battery which attaches to the back of your GoPro HERO+ LCD camera to extend battery life (gives 3-5 hours in addition to fixed battery).
The Wasabi Power Extended Battery for GoPro HERO+ LCD - with Waterproof Backdoor and USB. Around $55 on gumtree and Amazon.com
