For those of you with Xiaomi Dual-Sim phones (like the Redmi Note 3), note that the latest update allows you to run both SIM concurrently on 3G/4G as opposed to just 2G/4G.
Useful for everyone to update since the 2G network is being shut down.

Or you could unlock the bootloader and flash a custom ROM onto it.
I have take back my words. DO NOT UPDATE TO "MIUI 8.1.1.0|Stable". It is far from stable.
Good to know that we can finally run 3G on both SIMs, but… It completely screws up the Mi Cloud.
You won't be able to sync anything.
