I'm wanting to upgrade my iPad 3 and have a few options at mind which I need some advise.
I'm thinking of getting one on an Optus plan as we currently just use wireless internet at home.
I can get an iPad Air 2 32gb with 10gb data per month for $1008 or for another $200 I can get the iPad Pro 9.7. Price is obviously split monthly over 24 months.
The other option is just buy outright and continue using wireless prepaid deals in which case I wouldn't need the cellular version although I wouldn't mind the GPS in the cellular.
The other question is if I go the Optus deal can I tether the data from the iPad and also can I remove the sim and put it in a wireless hotspot?
The 10gb per month would suit well plus the added bonus of free music streaming and option for Netflix for another $10 if wanted. If I can remove the sim and put in hotspot will the free music streaming still work?
