  • not interested in the free clothes, but the camera is a great idea and seems to work well

  • I saw this promotion at my local Giant Store. The camera looks to be quality but the sheer size of it put me off. Surely they will come up with better technology to reduce the size of these light/camera combo units.

  • What's the [V] designation on the fly6 mean?

  • +1

    Thanks for the comments!
@slipperypete - thanks for the vote of confidence. :)
@Jezster - If you take an action camera + a 400 lumen light, the size is actually very reasonable. Especially if you consider the amount of battery power we packed in the units (10 hours of battery life for the camera). Good feedback though. Always appreciated!
@adamadam - the 'v' stands for the version of the unit. In this particular case, it actually refers to the upgrade that included an improved mounting solution (using velcro).

    • Thanks! I'm keen to see the benefit of velcro mounting compared to existing mounting.

I find that the current seat post mount is solid, but the fly6 wobbles side to side inside the seat post mount.
Is the v version strapped directly from the unit onto the seat post?

  • Not really "free" is it?

  • Hmmmmmm

  • Be sure to check the videos on their website, while they are compact and I can see the convenience the video quality is very poor :(

  • @manic: The original title to this post was a little more descriptive. Apparently this has been updated.
@maxwillian. Thanks for checking out the vids. The quality of the vids is HD/Full HD. We put a lot of videos up that are sent to us by our customers. Quite often they are compressed, or hosted on Youtube (also compressed). Thanks for pointing that out though. If this is the perception, we definitely need to change it. Feel free to do a search online for cycliq vs 'other camera brand' and asses the quality. :)
