Unlock a Alcatel Pop 4 Mobile Locked to Optus Network

Hi, I am having trouble unlocking a Alcatel Pop 4 5051x-2atuau1 mobile locked to the Optus network. I purchased it at a great price and need to unlock it to use boost/Telstra, as it's the best reception for where I live. I have tried: unlock it codes, cellfservices and [email protected], but none were able to unlock the phone. Can anyone suggest another alternative to unlock the phone without using Optus and paying $80? Many thanks for any assistance.

    Thanks Altomic. I have registered and am have engaged some guru's for help.
    Denniski, I saw that one, but they are in store only, and am not keen to send my phone to them.

    if you're daring and adventurous, consider downloading the qualcomm qpst and qxdm software and unlock whatever bands you want.

    FWP - ha, that I am not. But if I run out of options, i will try to find a tech savvy person to help.

    hey just wondering how good is the Alcatel pop-5 phone, as I want to buy it from AustraliaPost. does it run smooth or lags, does it have good batter life??

    I ended up getting it unlocked at a mobile phone shop in underwood, Brisbane. It had to be plugged in to be unlocked.
    It's a pretty good phone. The screen res is awesome. Big battery. I do find it does have a few seconds lag. But otherwise for the price - very happy.

    You can also try an ebay guy who remotely log into your computer and apply the unlock. It took like 15 min and I didn't have to visit a physical shop.
