Digital Photo Frame for Elderly Person

Hi, looking to buy a digital photo frame for an elderly family member. Not having much in locating a cheap-ish one. Need something that I can set up and plug in for her, without her needing to do anything more other than call me a billion times when she wants new photos on there (I once bought her a telly which I thought was easy to operate, the countless phone calls after installation help me realise that technology is most definitely not her strong point).
Would prefer a physical store to go get it rather than buy online. Please and thank you.

Maybe if she was left to her own devices she might work it out.

She is 93. I think she is past the stage of learning new things

Having done this in the past - you are probably wasting your time and money…

Maybe, but isn't that what Christmas is about?

  • Given my experience with tech-limited family members (grandma always watched ABC because she couldn't change the channel), I'd suggest a multi-picture frame like this ikea one, and then just getting some kmart prints and changing them over every time you visit.

If you're sure you want digital, target and good guys both have 7" models for ~$40.

    • Thank you. She has just moved into a nursing home so space is extremely limited and it seems as though they can't hang things on the wall. I tried searching target online and found nothing, thanks for the links :)

  • https://www.iinet.net.au/hardware/piix/ comes with free 3g sim for year, so you can send your pics to your oldies via MMS :)
    good quality too.

    • thank you, that looks great but i will get endless calls if someone sends her a picture on it

People who knows the number can send pictures and you can turn off the feature, still a good quality frame.
