$39 is pretty cheap for Levi's. Are they the poor fitting ones or all jeans?
I was given a pair a couple of years ago and I was suprised by how cheap they were, until I actually held them. They are so thin, and do not resemble the brand Levi for whom paying double or more, was actually worth it.
So I reckon these are the type you can see through.
Does anyone know if Levi's still make a range comparable to what they were?
Depends on which style you buy. I bought some levis from Amazon assuming all levis were good. Not so. Ones I got looked nice, but very thin, light material. Nothing like jeans in the traditional sense. More like office pants with a jean look.
