Has anyone tried using their Woolworths rewards for opal recharges and can confirm that it work? Even tho it does say travel cards are excluded in the conditions. Also how do you use the convert the points? I currently have 2000 which is $10. Is it the same as fly buys and need to convert?
I did find on reddit that people have used their points for opal which was in 2015z
Just insist that your Rewards card is Scanned and if it's meant to Work it'l work!
I usually have no problems having RC scanned for Opal recharge.
So it needs to be scanned u don't swipe to use the points?
If you have a ten dollar balance, it will automatically deduct that amount from your total when you scan the card.
There's no problem using points in lieu of payment, it should be automatically be taken off your card so just insist they scan it. Buying travel cards doesn't earn points although they do count towards petrol vouchers.
I never check if Opal recharges work, but the sales assistants usually refuse my rewards card when I top up my Opal. Annoying.
