but Jetstar vouchers are dodgey…anything you don't use in one transaction gets.
e.g. use a $200 voucher on $150 flight, you lose the remaining $50

      Lol… wtf.

    • Is that possible to pay with multiple vouchers? E.g.: pay $150 flight with 3x $50 vouchers

      • +2

Yes, you can. But the flight better be exactly $150. Or else you still pay credit card surcharge for the balance.

    • yeah pretty (profanity), but ok if you plan ahead

    • In that case, the vouchers are worse deals when they have higher values. It would worth the trouble to buy 8 times the $50 voucher instead of buying 2 times the $200 offer, given that I didn't find any limit one person can purchase. Is it correct?

  • Title is misleading. Gift Cards in the title should be replaced with Gift Vouchers. Gift Cards are more flexible than Gift Vouchers.

  • you can't buy the gift voucher online on Jetstar website any more

    • That appears to be a display error on the website, unless you can't actually complete the checkout process when you scroll down?

Edit: Not a display error, get redirected to error page/non existent page.

  • Woooooo! Can't wait to get my bonus $5 Jetstar voucher!

  • Last time this was run, they initially didn't send the 10% bonus voucher.

Screenshot and 'print' the page before you purchase or they may not honour the bonus voucher.

  • Can I buy this in store and still get the extra 10% vouchers sent to me? Or is this an online only deal

  • Never used vouchers, so my question might be a bit dumb, but…

What happens if I want to use a voucher for a flight that is in a different currency? Jetstar have this stupid system where the currency matches the country the flight leaves, so for example Thailand -> Australia prices are in THB.

  • Thanks OP, I have bought a $300 voucher, haven't received the $300 or $30 yet. Will report as it happens.
