What's a Fair Price for an 2007 Audi A3 4dr 1.8T Petrol Automatic with 60,000kms?

Hello,

Planning on putting my car up for sale soon and wanted to check what a fair price for an 2007 Audi A3 4dr 1.8T Petrol Automatic with 60,000kms? Car's interior and exterior is in immaculate condition and has always been garaged/hand-washed polished. Service log book is up to date as well as all the paperwork such as manuals, both car keys are there to.

I originally purchased the car from a friend about 5 years ago with 30,000kms on it for $18,500. And have just recently put new tyres on it as well.

Thanks!

  • Is it red?

    What colour inside?

Extras? What features are missing, e.g quattro

    • Silver colour - inside are the dark grey seats and light grey roof liner.
Not the quattro model - 1.8 turbo model with a 6spd s-tronic gearbox.

      • Sport and/or Electric seats, premium stereo, gps etc. The features lists are very long, what has it got, or what is missing?

        • Pretty sure it's a standard model - no extra's.

Look at similar / identical cars advertised for sale in your area, use those as a guide.

    • Yep, thanks mate!

    • Awesome, thanks mate! I'll put the ad up soon once I manage to grab some pics of the car.

The red book value is info you need to know.

BUT often those values are way out on old euro cars

Check what is for sale in your state (and beyond) now, and when your buyer comes, looks for any new ones or any that have sold. The trick is to know the market- or you may never sell your car.

Values are estimates only, and it all depends on how motivated your buyer is. Be sure to explain the condition first and the nifty/rare features second, plus make it clear the service was up to scratch, etc. A log with the car of all work done, invoices, and so on is very important to highlight in the ad- as well as limited use and declare what damage if any has happened and how you made sure the quality of the repairs were high.

If you know, statements like 'never involved in a major accident' are good ones to use if thye are true. Lies OTOH, may come back to bite you.

    Good luck.

    • Awesome, thank you so much for your help mate. Fingers-crossed I can get sold quick at the price im after!!
