    manufactured in the USA

How does that make them better ?

(UK Dr. Pepper tastes much better than the USA one…)

Now they're made in Malaysia, so….

      • So that means it's lower quality.

They definitely don't taste as good as they used to…
          We stopped buying them.

No potatoes were harmed in the manufacturing process.

As much as I like potato chips, I find it amazing that we pay $3-$5 for what would effectively be three quarters of a potato. I dare say its one of the lowest cost:profit ratio products available at supermarkets /tightarse

    • Yes, haven't bought potato chips in ages. So easy just to make a bulk lot of chips in 10 minutes

Potato is less than half of the ingredients.

      • The other half are preservatives and spices? Probably costs even less than potato's. The point is, they are a rip off (and this is even after they are heavily discounted).

This is what I think every time the Kettle Chilli Chips tempt me when I walk past them.

It's the final taste that I care about. Not even Pringles themselves are able to replicate the taste of their own US-made pringles, so it's not as simple as it seems!
