Hi, looking for a Blu-Ray player. More interested in one that can do the basics so looking to get a cheap one that does the job well. As a result, budget is a priority but am Willing to spend a bit more for good value. Thanks.

I got a new PS3 from target for $99. This was a few months back. I am not sure if they still have stock.
sony has a sale on their website at the moment, from memory Blu-rays are $109 their

What about a Sony "Seconds"? A Sony BDPS3500 for only $73.90! I got one and all that was missing was the owners manual leaflet.

I bought a couple of Thomson Blu-Ray players a couple of years ago for around $50 each.
It was The Good Guys or Target, IIRC.
They work OK, but I don't have anything to compare them with.
