The Sony Store has these on sale for half price (currently on back order).

Tried to price match at Harvey Norman (to take advantage of Amex offer) but they do not price match manufacturers.

Harvey Norman do have the wired version of these for $125.8 which is also pretty good (RRP $299).

    None of the review I have read on the wired version talk about ANC so don't think they are (but overall seem to be pretty decent headphones, main gripe seems to be about price at launch which was $299)

  I ordered a set of the H.ear headphones and it's not looking promising. I just received an email this morning reporting "Unfortunately we're unable to process your order at this time." so I'm not sure what that means. When I made the purchase, it didn't report it was on backorder until I'd actually made the purchase. I'm going to call them.

  Went to HN around Brisbane - they don't bother to price match it because "it's below cost".

  I do wonder if there's anywhere in Brisbane that I can get it for $199. If it's below $200 then I can convince myself to buy one~

  Has anyone who placed an order through the sony store for these at $249 received them yet? I am still waiting and now Sony have said due to demand the order may not be fulfilled.

    They sent me an email saying they couldn't complete the order a couple of days after I ordered (December 27th), but never actually gave an explanation. I replied and they never got back to me. I had to log a support request, then they told me they couldn't find my order. I don't really see how that's possible, but yeah. They did originally hold the money (I paid via PayPal), but then they released it. I asked if I could still buy them at that price, and what the availability was like, but they couldn't even tell me since their online/voice support is separate to the people who run the online store.
