Bookkeeping/Accounting for Small $80K pa Club

I don't know if I am correct in asking this here, but I am looking for some sort of bookkeeping program for our Club.
Approx $80K turnover per annum
250 or so members across 5 fee-paying categories, some merchandise sales and a few other sundry income sources (grants etc).
40 cheques for Expenses in 2016, mainly to association for registration and game fees, but coaches, uniforms, gear, rent and a few other one-offs.
I am using spreadsheets for journal entries, but that doesn't track slow payers etc.
Fees and uniform etc entered manually against player in team list then Income deposited is entered on master sheet, then any fee uniform etc payments transferred manually to players details. Very time consuming and not easily tracked.
Do not require high end analysis etc.
Is there a decent, easy to use program out there? free would be nice.

  • Something like Xero? Also look at MYOB and Quikbooks.
    They're around $25-50 a month for a single user license

  • Xero is very easy to use. I have 11 fee paying categories and it made matching transactions easy. $50 p/m for me.
