Dear Ozbargainers

We are off for a holiday to Singapore in Feb 2017. Are you aware of any sources which have discount codes/coupons for attractions / activities there?

Thanks

    Have you considered

  • they attractions themselves usually give you a discount depending on your credit card and booking online.
there is a lot to do that also doesnt cost anything other than transport.

When we were in Singapore in December last year we bought discounted tickets at People's Park Centre in Chinatown. We got tickets for Wings of Time, Aquarium, Universal Studios and Singapore Zoo cheaper than any price we could find on the internet.

We also used the website Eat I Go (Singapore) for up to 50% off dining.

  • I'm also travelling to Singapore at the same time as the OP. Does anyone know best place/price for Universal Studios entry?

  • We travelled to Singapore and Hong Kong last year and we used Klook to book most things before we left (https://www.klook.com/city/6-singapore/). They seemed to be a few dollars cheaper than most other places online so we decided to give them a go. We had no problems redeeming any of the tickets we booked and we had a great experience with them in Hong Kong, the Victoria Peak tram tour we booked with them came with a tour guide who met us a short distance away and walked with us to the tram station pointing out a few sights on the way. When we got to the tram terminal, as we had a tour guide we were able to skip both the incredibly long queue of people waiting to buy tickets and then the just as long queue of people waiting to get on the tram, we were first in line not having done any waiting (which we weren't expecting at all). The guide left us as soon as we got up the top, which suited us fine, we were free to explore. While it's not the same city that you're visiting, after this great experience I would happily book anything in future for travel in Asia through Klook.

Don't book tickets for anything on Sentosa Island at the desk where you buy the monorail tickets. We made a last minute decision to book Wings of Time tickets there for that night after our visit to Universal. From memory we paid about $18 each when online we could have bought them earlier for about $10 each.

If you're going to do Singapore Zoo, River Safari and Night Safari, I would recommend not doing them all in the same day. We did it all in one day and we were so exhausted by the time we got to the Night Safari we didn't appreciate it as much as we should have.
