Amazon's Description:

Make Happiness Your Priority. Rescue Yourself From a Job You Hate. Practical, inspiring and empowering career change tips and strategies every job hunter and career changer needs to know.

Career expert Cassandra Gaisford and the successful CEO of the internationally renowned Worklife Solutions—who has trained thousands of people to find new jobs, careers, and directions—shares her practical and inspirational program for reinventing yourself, whether you are beginning your career, out of work or want to change careers.

Career Rescue has practical and life-changing relevance for those trapped in jobs they hate. Are you showing signs of job dissatisfaction? Did you wake up this morning excited to face the day ahead? Or did the thought of getting up and going to work make you wish you could stay in bed? If Monday mornings are a low point in your week, it may be a sign that it’s time for for a career change.

Perhaps your job is making you sick. Common signs of neglecting your happiness and feeling trapped in a job that you don’t enjoy can include:

Headaches
Insomnia
Tiredness
Depression
Low self-esteem
Lack of confidence
Irritability and other warning signs.

It’s not surprising you may be struggling to get the energy or confidence needed to successfully find a new job or make a career change.

As Adam Markel writes in his career change book 'Pivot', "Those that Pivot are not extraordinary. They become extraordinary when they decide will not tolerate the circumstances of their lives for one moment longer." Don't wait until it takes a visit to the emergency room to experience an epiphany that changes the course of your future.

While you may still be debating whether or not to stay in your job, your subconscious mind may have already decided it’s time for you to move on. The trouble is, you may not know what to do. You may be like so many career changers who say, “I could do anything if only I knew what it was.”

Richard N Bolles, author of 'What Colour Is Your Parachute', once said to the author, “Sometimes all it takes is one book, one sentence to transform your life.” Practical career change and life reinvention strategies teamed with motivational quotes will rescue you from a job you hate. Gaisford's program has proven effectiveness to help you live and work with passion—and still pay the bills.

Whether you’re wanting to make a career change, proactively looking for new and more fulfilling ways of working and earning a living, job-hunting after job loss, or hoping to fall back in love with a job that you’ve come to hate, this book comes to the rescue. Career expert Cassandra Gaisford shares inspiring and practical career-change and job-hunting tips and strategies, she's used successfully herself and with clients.

  • Thanks OP.

  • Thank you. :D

    Step 1: get off OZB.

    Anyway.

The only reason I can think of newly launched self-help e-books being offered for free (and there's a lot of them, according to the OZB deals page) is to dramatically increase the number of readers stumbling upon whatever good or service the author may be selling directly or indirectly therein (even after considering the fact that only about 5% of customers who buy the book for free may end up reading it).

Expeditious, controlled and favourable reviews can be purchased cheaply so that reason is out.

    • I find it highly unusual that this deal has stayed posted, whilst mods routinely remove many fresh ebook publications, citing as a rationale the fact that they have never been sold…

    • Ditto for most of the "free" Udemy courses out there.

  • Thanks!
