Telstra BYO Vs Optus BYO

I'm a student currently in vaya and want to upgrade for better service and more data
My options are the

$50 Telstra M plan unlimited text and $1000 call credit and 10gb data and with uni days comes to $40 a month for me. Or
Optus $40 a month plan with unlimited call/txt and 10gb data and comes to $36 a month with a edu email ..

I'm leaning more towards Telstra for an extra $4 a month for better internet speed and coverage as I don't really need the unlimited calls anyway

I appreciate any suggestions

Im with optus only because they have the EPL rights - i was with Vodaphone for 4 years prior tbh they are both fine.

My girlfriend is with Telstra and i reckon there customer support are hopeless on a few issues we have had with internet.

Take from that what you will if it wasnt for the EPL i'd probably be with Vaya or Kogan

    I live 15min from the city in Melbourne so from my end fine i dont really notice the difference between my coverage and my gfs but in other area i cant comment just got back from Warranbool and it was good generally
