It says he's located in HongKong but his items say most are shipped from Melbourne.

be ware of a company called Wish. I wish now I would have never used them!
My cousin from overseas recommended them to me just the other day.I don't think she's
actually bought from them though.
What happened when you purchased from them?
Quite a few negatives then I'd be happy with to be honest. Seems like items come from overseas (even though is says oz) so will take a while to arrive? Most negative comments are to do with phones, seems (I could be wrong) like a lot of items are refurbished stock? which might be why people are saying condition is not new or item becoming faulty quickly and also explains the lower price?
I'd probably be okay buying something at a cheap price, but I'd rather get a more expensive item elsewhere to be honest. Note though I could be wrong with all that though.
From my personal experience I think oz_deal is a very dodgy and unethical business, I have joined today just so I could warn people about them.
The supposedly brand new and sealed phone I bought from them (for almost $500) came with pre-existing videos and photos on it, this was very disturbing! Not only that, the battery was faulty and I could not get any reception on it at all (and I only live 20mins from the city).
When I applied to get a refund they accepted my refund but refused to send me a postage label so I had to pay up front for the freight myself (I just wanted to get my money back and not have to deal with them anymore). After receiving the phone back they still wouldn't give me my refund, they sent me numerous emails wanting me to "confirm" that I would not give them a bad feedback before they will give me a refund. I had to contact eBay today to get my refund sorted. So do question the validity of their good eBay rating and feedback.
I will never deal with oz_deal again, not even if its free.

They blatantly stole my phone when I sent it in for repairs and they said they would fix it for free.
Originally we discussed the issue and they said it was an easy fix, send it back and they will fix it.
They then forgot about it for 2 months, then they said it would actually cost a substantial amount of money.
When I argued my case they decided they had actually lost the phone.
I then contacted the postal agency and confirmed they had it and all of a sudden 'they found it' and said it would cost even more to fix.
I refused and now they will not respond to me.
I contacted both ebay and paypal but as this went on for a few months i fell out of the time frame that they could help me.
Most of these dodgy sellers are doing this
Claiming they are "australian" but still getting stuff dropped shipped from overseas
Darwin or Melbourne are the two good clues to knowing somethings up - including free shipping and the low price
I would take your money elsewhere in case you wish to wait
