WTB - Decent household mop - any recommendations?

I am after a decent mop for cleaning tiles in kitchen hallway etc.

I do not want the cotton type that is wrung out by special bucket.

Two most recent ones have been less than satisfactory, either because they broke and/or rusted.

    • this is the mop i got a couple of years back, its quite good

  • I've had the Vileda spin mop for about 2 years. Been pretty happy with it apart from short handle. The newer and current model has addressed the issues with it and it's even better. Pretty sturdy. I think you should reconsider it. They have it at Woolies and Costco.

  • I have a norwex mop. Bit of hot water and vinegar. Cleans the tiles up real good. And really easy to use. No squeezing or anything

  • This is similar to the Decor one above but a little bit cheaper. I mix water and vinegar then add a drop of detergent and eucalyptus oil. it leaves the floors nice and clean.

    • Does this fold down?
I'm looking for a new mop too but sadly absolutely no tall storage space for when not in use

  • Get the mop and bucket they use at department stores, they work very well. I think they are called Oats.

  • Spin mop. Works a treat on our polished floor board. Sure it would be just as good on tiles etc…
We got it from Howard Storage World from memory.
