Paco Rabanne XS Pour Homme Aftershave 100ml - $19.99 (Save $72.01) @ Chemist Warehouse (in Store)

170

Seems like a good deal for a Paco Rabanne aftershave. Pity it's only in store and not online.

    I doubt it

  • If it's too good to be true…

…then it must be too good.

      Sounds like a deal.

  • I know I will probably be down voted, but are all of chemist warehouses perfumes genuine? I tried several of their Calvin Klein ones and they smelt noticeably different to the same ones sold in Myer.

    • I often wonder the same thing…not so much due to a difference in scent per se, but my perception of the longevity of the fragrance on the body…

I think the Myer and david jones they might sell to chemist after expiry.

          That might make sense

          Lol

          Perfume does NOT expire

          AND

if it was old stock they would marknit down for clearance and still.make a profit on it.

Chemist warehouse operates in a loophole where they are allowed to import grey stock fragrances and sell it in the local market. Basically all of chemist warehouse' discounted fragrances are sourced from genuine fragrances sold in asia at significantly lower prices.

Grey imports can often be of different quality to australian stock.

Myer actually had many fragrances that they market as "exclusive to myer" due to the fact that they are the only store that can get stock striaght from the manufacturer and are licensed distributors.

  • Yeah they just make a lot of this stuff and need to sell somewhere and the costs to make are low unless they use rare ingredients like unicorn blood or musk.

If it was a copy the manufacturers would have gotten them to take it off the shelf …..Chemist warehouse wants to be on the news for cheap prices and under paying staff not fake fragrances.

Difference of buying from a main stream retailer vs weekend market.

  • Isn't this model like 20 years old?
