Bad ULR Land Rover Dealership (Melbourne - Malvern) Experience

I took delivery of a brand new Discovery Sport back in Feb 2016.
Before we put down deposit, the dealership promised us that we were entitled to corporate program which included 3 years of scheduled vehicle services.

They confirmed that I am eligible to the program and promised us again on the delivery day after checking my payslips and they told us that it would take approx. 1 month to activate the corporate program.

Now being 10 months after the delivery and numerous emails / phone calls to and from the salesman and manager we are still not registered for corporate program. They keep telling us that they will follow it up and get the issue sorted.

I called the office today again and they told me that land rover was sold to another company 6 months ago and they will no longer register us on the corporate program.

My workplace is under the 2016 corporate program list (I have also checked with the Melbourne City Land Rover before I purchase this car and they also confirm my workplace is eligible for corporate program) . The ULR Land Rover dealership is listed as participating dealership but they do not honor what they have promised.

My experience with ULR dealership is once you put down the deposit, they do not provide what they have promised.

I personally will not recommend this dealership as I felt like a soccer ball being passed around for the last 10 months.

My experience with URL dealership is once you put down the deposit, they do not provide what they have promised.

That's typical of most middle-road luxury brand dealerships - I've experienced the same thing with Mercedes, BMW and Audi! Once the sale is made, they are no longer concerned about you - they have their commission and there is no more money to be made form you, so on to the next sale!

Buys $100k+ car, posts forum rant because he can't pay for servicing…

    Seriously?!

    sigh

    • Range Rover discovery cost 100k? Are you for real ???
One thing is for real is that dealership sucks really badly.
I suggest to report to the Land Rover head office.
      Good luck

It's not about "paying for service". It's that the dealer has not delivered on the promises.

      • It's that the dealer has not delivered on the promises.

Which were verbal, and not in writing… Not the best idea

Why should someone be exempt from complaining because of the value of the product/service?
Lots of people on here buy comparatively expensive things and still want to save money.

Do you have it all in writing/on the contract of sale?
