    I have had a titanium eco-drive for almost 10 years now. It's fairly indestructible and still looks great.

          Citizen make great quality watches, it comes down to what you want really. You are paying a premium because it's titanium & sapphire. I've never really understood why I would need titanium, I've never had to take my stainless steel watch off because it was too heavy.

          Once you get into this price range you are competing against legendary watches like the Seiko SKX007K2 $243.70 Shipped & SKX009K2 $243.70 Shipped They may be cheaper elsewhere.
          The Citizen is still just a quartz watch so you can easily get an automatic for this price or less.

          If you are after an automatic dress watch with sapphire glass but don't need titanium -
          Orient Symphony II Automatic ER2700EB US$104.00 Shipped
          Orient is owned by Seiko & they make their movements in house in Japan.

          Make sure you buy what you like though.

      I've had one for a few years now, a titanium eco-drive with sapphire glass and chronograph. It still looks and works as well as the day I got it.

    Bought this model with blue face (Citizen Super Titanium AW1400-52L) for 208aud shipped from starbuy mid Jan16. Good watch, very light, attractive. Bought another for my dad when it was delivered I was that impressed.

    I bought the same watch (black one) from StarBuy for $178 last year, local stock and picked up in Sydney.
