Aussie Goody Bag for Malaysia

Just wanted some suggestions..
I'm looking to do a kids party/goody bag to take back to Malaysia. i want to fill it with chocolates and chips which they cannot get in Malaysia (or food where Australia tastes better).

So far, my list is:
-Smith chips
-Cheezels
-Jumpy's
-Dairy Milk Marvellous Creations
-Haribo gummy bears
-Cadbury Furry Friends
-Tim Tam Bites

Any other ideas??

Thanks for your help!

  • la snaks

  • Lindt Chocolates

  • Vegemite Cadbury?

  • They got pretty much all international brands in Malaysia. Including vegiemite.

    I would buy from Aldi.

  • Licorice red and black, tim tams, royals bikkies, ovaltinies and the natural company snakes

  • Cherry Ripe

  • Milo. The Australian recipe is considered by many to be superior to what they get in many Asian countries.

EDIT: perhaps more relevant to adults rather than kids but thought I'd throw it in there anyway…

VB for kids party ? lol

  • SOME kids like the salty kind of jerky popular in Australia (rather than the sweet stuff preferred in Asia), so that could be an option to consider… as could a small bag of (salty) 'pork crackles'. All the 'pork crackle'-type products available in Asia are either just cheap/bland chips fashioned in the shape of pork crackles, or they are the genuine pork product, but sold as something bland/tasteless intended to be cooked/incorporated into a recipe.

Then there's bubble-gum/'chewy' (chewing gum), of course. I think some of the smaller/more tightly-regulated asian countries (Singapore/Taiwan? not sure about Malaysia?) continue to ban the sale of chewy within the actual country, but it remains quite legal to bring a bit in with you, when you fly in? Don't take my word on this one though, things may well have changed in the last few years…

Can any learned OzBers provide an update on the 'chewy situation' in Singapore/Malaysia/Taiwan? I'm thinking residents of these countries currently residing in Oz/travelling back and forth will be able to set me straight on this…

    Knoppers (aldi)

    Cadbury frogs

  • Chocolate Wheaten or digestive biscuits :)

if you are giving to adults consider Glucosamine or Omega 3 fish oil when they are half price, my mum always gets an insane amount of people asking her to help bring it back for them.
