SIN Airport Lounge Acess

Anyone got a cheap way to access a lounge in Singapore during transit? Got about 5 hours to waste

Transmitting from Scoot to Bangkok Air next Saturday

  • You could give Dragonpass a try. I've never used it so can't vouch for it, but it seems legit. Would love to hear how it works out if you use it!

Changi is the only airport I look forward to spending a longer than normal transit.

When I think of airport lounges I think showers, desktop PCs, cold sandwiches and TV.
Changi has all of these available - the showers for a charge in the transit hotels, the PCs for free in all terminals, food and beverage outlets everywhere and TVs and cinemas are there for free if you look carefully.

I really don't see the need for a paid access lounge at Changi. If you receive lounge access based on your class of travel or frequent flyer status, only then would I use the lounge..

The Indian vegetarian restaurant in terminal 2 (?) Is awesome

Why do you need a lounge?
There is a free cinema, free gaming consoles…. HEEEEAPS of stuff to do without the need for a lounge

    • True. 5 hours goes quickly at Changi. Butterfly garden, ponds and the list goes on

If you have 5 hours you might be able to get on a free Singapore tour

  • Changi has lounge access on arrival. I think it was SGD58/each. It may have had a 5 hour limit.

Changi website would have the details.

    • I found the lounge to be a rip off -Around 50SGDPP.

On the return journey my partner and I were better off booking a 6 hour slot at the ambassador hotel for 80$ (pre-booked).
Food is better within the terminal compared to the lounge.
