Publishing Game in Google Play Store

Hi All,

I've just recently upload an app on google store which I did out of out of hobby and as a learning experience, however I find it hard to advertise them.
If anyone here has any similar experience and wouldn't mind sharing their tips and trick then it would be highly appreciated.

P.S. I don't enough budget to go to big advertising company :( and I'm aware that I will get negative and positive feedback from here, but any feedback is welcome.

For those that curious about the said app, it's called Milky Way Crusher - Bubble Pop

Thanks in advance.

Reading some comments from the members here (thank you for your input), we have decided to do this:

Instead of going to the advertisement agent, we will donate $1 instead for every review+rate that I received for the app (up to $1k).

And here is how you can help us:
- download and give your honest review+rate of the app
- if you don't have android phone, then you can share this with your friends
- play the game if you like them :)

charity of choice www.children.org but open to suggestion, can also split the amount.

Step 0 of advertising your game: post appropriate links.

Post on Android enthusiast forums to promote your game. Throw in some incentives (use this code for X free credit/items/whatever) to get people into it.

Yep just be quick and simple and straight to the point.. Even better if you can say somehow why your game shines above other genre clones etc

Bubble pop game - space galaxy setting (multiplayer?)

      • thank you for your advice :)

        • No problem i love games and watch a lot of youtube and review content so i know what the people like (or at least some haha lol everybodys different)

Although to be honest i feel like some small things get easily missed a lot like clean form / simple short descriptions / functions and features etc. i am sometimes a minimalist man

    • Sorry, I didn't add link because I didn't want to use ozbargain to advertise the app without actually giving people any bargain, but I included the name just in case some people want to know what app it is.

however lesson learned :) thanks for the advice.

Check reddit. Best place for free advertising besides various youtube channels and android app review websites.

    • Will do, thanks for the advice :)

Someone from here's already done it… either an active member or a lurker:
