eBay Price Discrepancy (Same phone - Different Colour)

Hi guys

I'm looking at purchasing a Huawei Nexus 6P and notice on eBay, there are ALOT of people paying a massive markup for a silver version, as opposed to the black version.

Is this because people really want Silver?
Because it's local stock?
Because Kogan/Dick Smith are bad to deal with?

Surely it's not worth $800 more?

    I would say silver is currently out of stock, seller trying to keep the post.

    Yeah look at the sales history. No one bought it for that price. They are purely out of stock and don't want to have to relist it

      eBay now allow zero stock thus the no need to relist. This need to be opt in selling preference.
