3.5 L Slow Cooker with Digital Timer

I am hoping to find a 3.5 l slow cooker under $50 with digital timer. I know they are more expensive with digital timers, but you don't get if you don't ask.
Thanks

  • I would highly advise investing in a pressure cooker. It will last longer, has more functionality than the slow cooker, and cooks to the same quality in minutes.
    Sorry for being slightly off-topic.

    • Actually, it's squarely on-topic…most electric pressure cookers now have a slow cooker function/mode…with a countdown timer…best of both worlds!

IMHO there is a difference in flavour between many slow cooked dishes & pressure cooked, but it's not really a problem, both are still good! ;)

  • Digital timers ones are annoying to use. You can only run them for the limit of the digital timer (12 hours on mine). I'd rather have an analogue one as you can leave it on for longer than 12 hours.

It might be a long day where you are out of the house more than 12 hours or maybe you want to make bone broth (might need to run it over 24 hours).

So in my opinion a digital timer is definitely not better when it comes to slow cookers.
