Hello Fellow Ozbargainers. We put another special for all those people wearing Focus Dailies Aquacomfort plus. Its a ridiculous price of only $59 per 90 pack and there is no minimum order required. Delivery charge of $8 still applies and all contacts are posted via Australia post express. This would be a great time to stock up on your contact lenses. We also do swaps, so if you purchase your contact lenses from us, and have unopened boxes in original condition which are about to expire, we are happy to swap them for a new box with a later expiry date.       I dont wear contacts so this may seem like a stupid question but cant you substitute brands?
      Surely any brand can be made to work with your eyes?

        I haven't been a contact lens wearer for long, but I do believe you can substitute brands. What I meant was that for people with Astigmatism, they need the Toric lenses.
        The one currently on offer aren't suitable for me as I can't order the same prescription.

        When ordering, Normal contacts require just the SPH (Sphere), but Toric lenses require the SPH, CYL (Cylinder) and the AXIS.
        That's pretty much all I know!

        +1 for a deal on Bausch & Lomb Soflens Toric. To the rep, any possibility of stocking the 90 pack SofLen Daily Disposables?

          We do have stock of Soflens 90 Pack Daily Disposables just follow the link. There was a special for Purevision Toric which we posted a few months ago. I have spoken to the reps at Bausch & Lomb and they will be promoting more of their products with specials soon so I will keep the Ozbargain community posted on any bargains.

          If you are wearing toric lenses you should not change to wearing spherical lenses as it will not be suitable for your prescription.

          Contact lenses are made to fit a Majority of wearers. Manufacturers want you to wear their brands so they try to make a 1-size-fits-all but there are the few of us out there which some contacts may just not fit due to their size. There is a good chance all brands will fit however, we do not advise changing brands without first being fitted by your optometrist. I know it may not sound true, but your optometrist usually does know what he/she is doing when they fit you with contacts and they are not just charging you fitting fees for the sake of it.

      We will be working on some more deals for everyone. We do understand not everybody wears the same contact lenses and it may be sometime before there is a special for your contact lenses. We've just implemented a voucher code system where you may enter codes to receive special discounts. We will definitely have an exclusive code for the Ozbargain community so stay tuned.

    I've had a few enquiries about the expiry date for our Aquacomfort plus lenses. The Aquacomfort plus lenses we currently have in stock have an expiry in 2014 so that gives you a good 3 years however, part of our policy is that we are happy to exchange and swap unopened boxes in original condition for contacts with a later expiry date.
