    Gumtree.

    Next…

    • Also comes with free bedbugs!

      • Sorry kindshibe, too slow.
Someone has already been and picked them up. I just didn't have a chance to take the listing down.

I don't know why anyone would carry their hard rubbish to the kerb. List it on gumtree as free and someone is there to collect it before you've even written a description.

You never asked about mattresses…you said "bed".

Might be a decent starting point.

Personally we have an Ergoflex Memory Foam Mattress and a chinese slated base. It is very comfortable but maybe a little hot in summer.

    • What's a Chinese slated base?

      • Actually it is probably Japenese. It is a japanese style futon bed with slats. (My spelling is getting atrocious). This seems to work pretty good as it allows air circulation under the mattress.

We've purchased from beds online before and had an excellent experience.

Some of the beds are very expensive but there are some more bargain priced finds - it depends what you want - if you are looking for a "spare bed" mattress, you don't need pocket springs, zoned, pillow tops. Take some time to read through the different types of bed and I am sure you will find something to suit you.

Never ever buy a bed or mattress online. You have to try it,even they offer free exchange. Guys, you have to see and tri it in the shop.

    • Wouldn't being able to try it in your own home for more than a few minutes or an hour or so like you do in a shop be preferable? That is why a lot of the online companies offer the 100 night guarantee, so you have time to actually try it in your own home for an extended period of time.

  • What city?

  • Perth

    • We bought a lot of bedroom furniture from bedroom trends. Can't complain about service or price. We used the stock road branch. Even managed to order a custom made mattress for a reasonable price.

    • Go to Harvey's and ask for the Sealy Apollo range. Should be on special although it's just at the price you could easily bargain down to. Great locally made mattress and well priced.
