Complaining to TIO as a Company

Hi guys,

I'm having a dispute with a telco at work and it's reached the point of stupidity.

The TIO seems to be the go-to-guy for when us individual ozbargainers fun afoul of telco shenanigans, however looking into this, it seems ambiguous as to whether or not a company can use their services.

Does anyone know?

    https://www.tio.com.au/consumers/who-can-complain

Are you a residential consumer or small business?
    ….
If you are in doubt about whether the TIO can deal with your complaint, contact us.

since you are in doubt…contact them
i'm sure they can point you in the right direction

the size/value of the complaint matters

  • Why not call them and ask? I'm pretty sure they will help.

  • they only help up to a certain size of company. so someone like maccas can't raise a TIO complaint. also, they're limited in how $$ they can deal with, so if you're disputing hundreds of thousands of dollars they probably can't help you

  • What is the nature of the problem with the telco in 25 words or less?

Services disconnected, telco still charging. Been going on for 3 months now.

  • Is your company a small business?
Annual turnover needs to be under $2 million if you go by the ATO definition.

If it's a small business, then complain away.
If it's not, then give me some money. I'll complain for you.

    • That's the answer I was looking for. thx
