Just read this on whirlpool haha

That's weird! Code 614726 is supposed to be $2.95 garlic breads.

    $2.95 garlic bread - code 614726 (expires 17/1)

Good deal, can customise it a little as well, eg change sauce to pizza sauce or add chilli flakes/spring onion for free.

Edit: Coupon allows multiple pizzas, cheesy garlic pizza is also vegetarian for those wondering.

      Related?

Oh wow I think you're right, there is no garlic bread listed as an option at all on the Dominos website, only cheesy garlic bread.

        • +3

because most of the frozen garlic bread have been recalled due to plastic bits went into the making process. http://www.northernstar.com.au/news/recall-plastic-pieces-fo…

@fchis: A girl at work today was just saying how she was stunned by not being able order a garlic bread from Dominos the other day. Now it all makes sense! P.S. she is hot af. Will mention it tomorrow ;)

Garlic bread products recalled after fears of plastic contamination

    See link: http://www.abc.net.au/news/2017-01-17/garlic-bread-recall-by…

    • Thanks, but not sure what relevance it has with this deal.

      • +3

It's the reason why garlic bread isn't available from Domino's at the moment:

"Both Pizza Hut and Domino's, who are supplied garlic bread by George Weston Foods, have removed the item from their menus until further notice."

        • +5

Ah, gotcha. So this may be Domino's way of saying sorry, no garlic bread but have a garlic pizza at the same price perhaps?

          @tightarse:

And it may explain why QLD misses out. Perhaps a different GB supplier up here, at least for Domino's?

        • +3

@tightarse: But also, stuff Queenslanders. Apparently.

Not quite. Been testing some stores in QLD. Works Calamvale, Acacia Ridge, Kelvin Grove, Paddington and plenty more.

        • not working in Ballina and Byron Bay NSW

@pentole: 420 is the only code that works at byron

      • Sorry, haven't read the deal properly. I though that the deal is about the cheesy garlic bread. Just read that it is about pizza.

$2.95 for a contaminated pizza? Sounds like a deal to me.

I customised mine with chilli flakes, spring onion and parmesan for free tonight - a good combo :)

    • Lol I nearly did that the other day, I do that to all my other pizzas

    • "The company said the source of “foreign material contamination” at the manufacturer in Queensland had been identified."

Lol. Maybe that's why Queensland gets excluded. We buggered it up for everyone.

  • Got them from local store in Townsville last night.

I just ordered two of these and ate a few bits less than 5 minutes ago. It might be a blessing or a curse but I literally live on top of a Domino's store. My first and lasting reaction is that although this is very cheap for a pizza, I'd rather fork out $5 for a pepperoni, which you can do every day of the week.

Put the rest in the freezer, one day I'll be hungover enough for the remaining bits to be a god send.

  • Mmm 1200 calories, wish I was bulking.

Any idea how long this is valid for?
