  • Yep, I noticed this is up. Seems to be happening regularly now.
Never gets many votes here, but I'd say it's a good deal.

  • Yay Lunch sorted! - Signed up as well :) thanks OP

    • You gona eat 2 foot longs for lunch?

        You bet I am! =D

Warning - don't activate the voucher until you want to use it (as in when you are standing in the queue in the line at Subway)

It asked me to click it to activate the deal and now it's active, it only lasts 2 hours (there is countdown timer).

    WTF?!

    Downvote Subway

    • You could just make a new account, then activate it once again.

But, I'm assuming it's too late..

    • I just showed them the photo on the phone at my local one and have used it 2x no problems. She was looking for an expiry date and couldn't find one, gave me a puzzled look and said ok.

Off topic but I got mild food poisoning from their meatball sub, then got it again from the same sub. Obviously didn't know the 1st time if it was subway but the 2nd time confirmed it.

      • Lol.

My friend claimed to get food poisoning from a cookie once.

I for one. Eat their like twice a week for the last ten years. Never got sick. In saying that I don't buy the meatball or seafood subs, they look like diarhea before you eat them.

        • Tell him wash his hands before eating and stop blaming the subway! If there was contaminated food at the subway then a lot of people would get sick and the department of health would investigate.

      • It probably is a branch by branch basis, but its always a risk with subway.

Had a cousin who got food poisoning from their chicken - he was so sick they had to put him under, almost killed him.

I got food poisoning last year from a chicken sub at subway. Worst feeling ever. The only good thing that came out of it was i dropped 15kg

        • @Jake17: Did you keep that 15kg off?

        • Agree. I used to eat meatball subs in the city all the time in the city, never got sick. The one I got sick from is in broadmeadows. Lesson learnt.

          Wash hands thoroughly before eating.

Have seen people using the public toilets in fast food places and walking out without washing their hands and then going on to eat their food. Disgusting. Poor hygiene = Gastro!

      • That didn't happen to you, it was Homer Simpson

      • It's meant to last for 4 hours

    • It takes you 2 hours to queue for subway? Grow up

Can you just order a footlong and be charged a 6 inch price?

    • +1

      Most stores allow this.

    • It's BOGOF so buying a 6" gets you one free.

      • Yes but to save the hassle of the staff making you two separate 6" subs, you could just get a footlong made.

        • +1

That's what they do lol 😁

Cheers for the deal, had never done it before but signed up, showed them my phone, all was good.

    Too easy!

Me and a few others from work always go to the same food court Subway and I'm pretty sure they hate us because we use these vouchers every time, multiple times per week. When we first started using them they'd never seen the vouchers before and I had to tell them where they were from. They ask us for ID every time and try to catch us out but we're 2legit.

Same thing happens when I do this with mates at the uni subway. The manager also looks at the voucher for ages before sighing and finally relenting.

Champ! Sure beats other meals, a footlong sub each for $11.50. Last meal before catching our flight tonight, had to check OzB before deciding!

    • No worries, Shaw. Safe flying!
