Just bought this AL670 HD media player couple days ago at their shop for $175 and this deal is now also listed online as well.

Comes with a HDMI cable + original N-wireless adaptor which listed as optional item in Apacer's website.

Stylish design, wireless easy to set up and sees my QNAP NAS straight away. It streams and plays all my download collection in 1080P RVMB/ xVid beautifully without lag.

Interface is a bit boring but very responsive unlike the WD my cousin has. It also comes with a Sony DVD style big remote.

It does bittorrent download as well but I didn't bother to try.

Not the cheapest one in town but with wireless and good quality playback I think it is a gem.

    There's nothing that stands out about the unit though, there are a few cheaper options out there that offer dts-hd, dolby truehd for bluray rips or can fit a hard drive inside.

        EDIT: xtreamer try eljo, patriot boxoffice try msy (the wifi dongle comes with all boxoffices)

    Not sure if this is a good deal…You can get a same config media player for $100
    (reference: staticice)

    Try Astone AP-300 or A-110D
    Astone does release firmware in a reguler basis…the latest (v 1.92 beta) supports NAS and do the bit torrent plus everything else this can do…

    I understand there are some additional value like
    HDMI cable (~$4.00)
    Wireless dongle (~$30 for Astone)

    For additional $24($199) - you can get the top of the range AP-360T which can also use as a PVR
    Or try the legendary WD (LIVE) Medaia Player with same price

    Or even a basic Sony Media Player will be my choice than this (only $55)

          I've heard that the Astones run very hot, and that this can make them unreliable.

            @You and Me: I have not had any problems with my Astone AP-300 with 1TB WD green drive installed. It has a little fan on the back that keeps the unit cool.

            Does everything thing this unit does (and more) for $185 including the HDD from uMART.
