When I went on the site this product qualifies for a £10 discount which I just ticked on the page to apply, then someone has already posted the 'BIGTHANKS' coupon for another £10 pounds off can be stacked on top of this.

Below is what I get for shipping to NZ.

    I'm in syd and I am getting this;

won't be making a purchase though as I already bought one last time

  • Also noticed the black/ pink and the elusive purple(not available last sale) for same price.
Bought 2 last time and highly recommend.

    • can I get replacement heads in AU?

      • I don't see why not as the tooth brush is also available in au for an exuberant price.
Personally i'll just order online extras when the time comes.
Last sale i remember people recommending sticking with original and not after market.

        • +5

I think you mean exorbitant rather than exuberant :)

      • Yep. Costco had packs last time I went in there.

    • I think only the white version gets the first 10 pound discount, as I selected the black and purple and they don't have the option to apply it unfortunately.

      • Well that's a bummer then

      • For me they all get the 10 GPB discount pre-applied, but I can't add another with the code.

        • On the Select a payment method page under you cc it'll say

          Your available balance
          Use your £20.00 Promotional balance

Mines now auto adding the promo codes even if i delete them.

        • @wpw: I never saw that option. I only had 10 GBP promo balance, not 20. Maybe it's targeted?

        • I believe the BIGTHANKS might've expired now

        • @wpw: I tried it before it expired and wasn't working.

Got 3 DiamondCleans for my family from the Black Friday deal.
I have to say they are pretty good!!

Much more powerful and effective than the manual ones.
And I Never suffer the gum bleeding again.

Highly recommend it especially for this price.

    • Agreed. I bought the Series 3 healthy gums model a month ago. I use to have the oral-b with the round rotating head but I prefer this one as it scrubs up/down and the head looks like a manual toothbrush.

  • +1

£74.69 = $122.02 AUD with Coles MC (paying in GBP on Amazon site)

    xe.com at current exchange rate = $121.80

    • Thanks, have updated with your price as its a bit more precise.

  • Of course this comes up right after I get the Oral-B PC7000 for $130

  • Love mine. The battery lasts ages.

  • In the middle of the page it shows there is a newer model (3rd generation) starting from GBP 119.99 for the pink one but not sure what's the difference between the two generations?

    • +1

In the Q&A some said "New deep clean function and new low level charger". Although I read a reviwer who said the deep clean function was too intense for their gums compared to the standard clean function.

      • Just having a look, it seems that also include one different brush head

    • IMO, the price of the 2nd gen will drop further soon considering the 3rd gen's price: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B01LZ2UDA0?ref=emc_b_5_t&th=1 (does not ship to AU)

  • Code doesn't seem to be working for the white one now either. Anyone else have this issue?

EDIT: Once I get to the 'Pay' section, there is a part that allows me to 'use your £10 promotional balance'. When this is checked, doesnt let me apply promo code. In fact, doesn't let me put in promo code regardless. Am I doing something wrong?

    • The only issue I had that was you can only apply both if you buy the white version, others colours did not have to voucher tab near the price.

      • I can only get down to 84.69 after applying BIGTHANKS

        I can't find any additional 10GBP rebate?

      • Neither are working for me at present either, not seeing the tick box or discount and BIGTHANKS just doesn't work.

    • Hmmm maybe they have taken the extra £10 promotion off as it was right on the main page of the product just under the price where you click to apply voucher.

I can't see it either now when I go back, but I don't know if that is because I already bought one. Did you buy anything else from Amazon recently where you used a £10 voucher?

Otherwise they may have deactivated the coupon due to the new BIG THANKS coupon.

      • No, I didnt buy anything else. It's still there for the white model, not the others.

        • Have isolated that BIGTHANKS is the 10.00 promotional credit displaying for me and the 10.00 voucher isn't being applied to my account / order for some reason. As the 10.00 promo credit is there for other items.

  • I've had this toothbrush for the past 5 years. It's amazing! My first one ran out of steam after 4 years so I just replaced the main unit via ebay because I didn't need the charger etc

  • Ordered one + replacement heads too.
    Thank OP :)

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but why buy something like this for $120-$130 when there are options like the Oral B electric toothbrush for under $20?

Edit: I never understood why electric toothbrushes vary so much in cost and am wondering why, thanks!

    • +4

I have beeen using Oral B for many years before I switched to SonicCare. The differences is huge.

This thing is quiet by itself until you put it in your mouth. The vibration makes most of the noise during you brush.

To be honest, once we started with the first SonicCare, we couldn't go back to Oral b.

It feels cleaner after each brush, it has many modes including massage (not that I use it).

And if you have a smaller mouth, the small tooth heads are great, smaller than Oral B and get the job done closer and cleaner in my opinions.

Thanks for your reply, it's really appreciated :)

Where does the other £10 discount come from? I can apply the promo code BIGTHANKS at the end, but I don't seem to get the other £10 off :(

    • Weird, what colour are you going for? When I'm at the Pay section there is a heading that says 'Your available balance', where it allows me to check a box that lets me 'use your £10 promotional balance'. I can do this, but not the BIGTHANKS code lol

    • I'd like to know this too!

    • I'm the opposite. I get the 10 GBP promo discount already applied but can't use BIGTHANKS because it says it can't be applied, or sometimes says it's already been redeemed.

  • This or the Oral B 5000?

  • Will you need a plug adaptor since it is for UK standard outlets?

    • +1

Yes you would need a plug adapter, though they come with a USB charging cable so may be able to charge without an adapter.

    • -1

Yes, but I just use a standard AU adapter and it works fine.

(Although I use the charging case which has a USB plug vs. the charging glass (which is 'hard-wired' to a UK plug)

    • +1

FYI, it's a UK shaver plug, not standard. Like fatter EU plugs. Some of my adapters didn't fit. Strangely, it was only the cheapy Chinese ones that did.

      • Thats good to know thanks, saves me buying the wrong adapter.

  • Thanks for this. Just grabbed the black model $122!! great price!

    • how did u get it for 122?

      • The 2*10GBP Coupons. It only applied to the black one when I bought it 45 minutes ago

        • iv been checking back to see how some get the extra 10 nothing comes up for me for any of them & I been checking a lot earlier then when you say you bought it

        • @supatight:

I opened a livechat and they added it to my promotional credit, worth a shot for you if it's not working for you as well.

        • @supatight:

Not sure. Might have been targeted or maybe it came and went. Still a good deal without the extra 10

        • @memske: how do i do that? thanks

        • @supatight:

Scroll down the bottom of the page > help > need more help > contact us > chat

        • @memske: The person at the other end would not do anything for me thanks anyway such a shame i guess i miss out

  • How does the warranty work with this?

  • I bought the black one, only got $10 discount.

  • +1

Refreshed the page a few times throughout the day, never got the voucher to show up.

Tried live chat like someone suggested above. The rep had no clue and just kept insisting there was only BIG THANKS and that the deal sites I linked to were third party spam.

Amazon customer service has really taken a huge dive. It used to be nothing but perfect experiences with Amazon customer service to the point where I would pay more to shop at Amazon as it is hassle free. The past few times I've had to contact them however their offshore support has had no idea and zero interest in helping.

  • +1

I prefer this model, Flexcare Platinum. It is GBP 67.97 shipped and doesn't include the glass cup or useless tat like a UV sanitizer, but imo is a better toothbrush. It doesn't have as many modes as Diamondclean but did you use those other modes anyway? What it does have is 3 levels of intensity as 2nd gen brushes have, and an AdaptiveClean brush head which is better than Diamondclean. It also has a separate button for cycling through modes instead of one button does all.

  • I have contacted their service reps and they have said no other promotion exists besides the BIGTHANKS 10 GBP promotion. I even tried to see if I could get reduced shipping costs and they declined.

I think this may be targeted

    • I've contacted Amazon.com to see if they can price match Amazon.co.uk - will update on result

      • "I have confirmed this that we do not offer price match for different marketplace" - No luck (I wanted cheaper shipping and I had an existing credit)

        • If anyone need's some sodium then holla at me, because I'm salty af right now

  • cant get the extra GBP10 to work :(

  • Black one now showing Apply £10.00 voucher

    • U mange to get gbp 20 off?

      • Have 2 already, but just tried and yes it applied.

        Items: GBP 79.16
        Postage & Packing: GBP 15.46
        Total before VAT: GBP 94.62
        VAT: GBP 0.00

        Promotion Applied: -GBP 20.00
        (Order Total: GBP 74.62)
        Payment Total: AUD 126.59

Exchange rate seems to have changed though

  • Right now it's telling me Bigthanks code has already been redeemed.. wtf. I didn't redeem anything.

  • Can't find another 10 discount….Try many times, but didn't work.

  • I bought the 3rd generation instead,$30 more.
The old model will be cheaper in the near future, including Australia.

    • what's new in 3rd gen aside from a changed cup?

  • -1

Why does it giv me can't be shipped to my location?

  • I can't believe I missed it again, but I don't see any discount for me at all(Code didn't work)

  • -1

Code doesn't work also can't find the u are qualified for extra discount? Plz help coz I want one of these for me and my partner.

    • The 'BIGTHANKS' coupon has expired as it was only active for about a day.

  • -1

Thanks I know how about the other code?

  • Has anyone got their item shipped yet? Still preparing for dispatch

    • Mine had been sitting waiting dispatch for 3 days so yesterday I live chatted with Amazon, they assured me that it will be received within their time estimate. Then about half an hour later my order changed to 'dispatched'.

    • Ordered on Friday and was dispatched on Monday.
