$10 to $20 off Game Pre-Order for Nintendo Switch on MightyApe

80

First time post, just stumble across mightyape and did a random search on switch games etc, there are quite a bit of $10 and $20 off for pre-order as compared to EB etc…

https://www.mightyape.com.au/games/nintendo-switch/all

edited: britta below pointed out Mightyape priced most switch games at $99, so will still have $10 saving.

  • great find pumkin well done

    • thanks, lets hope EB will price match, i still want my carrot!

      • +2

        They wont

  • +3

There prices seem a bit off
The RRP for Zelda is 89 so only saving 10
RRP for Mario kart is 79 so no saving there

All the titles seems to be listed at 99, that ain't right

    • yes, some are $10 off, some are $20 off, other no saving, but lets hope EB price match ^^ or adjust price on their website, so we can all benefit from this hyped price atm.

      • 79 for Zelda would be nice. Jbhifi has Mario kart listed at 79

        • Nice find, Eb will definitely price match JB. I want my Carrot.

        • I scored the special edition (with the case, no statue) from Amazon UK for $110 delivered. Some more stock opened up last night, has since been bought but you could try your luck there for a cheap copy of the game :-) use the Notify Me section on the right

        • @Kugz: I'm gonna get the no-game bundle direct from Nintendo and the wii u version elsewhere for $63

        • @Putnum:

Yeah I have a few versions ordered, I'm a huge Zelda fan and super excited for BOTW!

        • @Kugz:

The Amazon UK one doesn't come with the case though - just the statue?

        • @cyrax83:

Yeah I was a little confused about all the versions. It looks like there is a 'Special Edition', a 'Limited Edition' and a 'Master Edition'.

          Master Edition: Statue and Case
          Limited Edition: Statue (no case)
          Special Edition: Case (no statue)

Australia got the Limited Edition, the UK got the Special Edition, USA got Master and Special edition (as far as I'm aware).

  • These look like placeholder prices, but you wouldn't do deals on placeholder prices so unfortunately I doubt they are.

80 bucks for Minecraft for example (with the discount) … there's no (profanity) way they would have the guts to sell the game at that price, so I don't know what to make of this. Maybe they are placeholders, and maybe ordering now would secure you 10/20 off the final price? Maybe not.

I don't know. Either way, thanks for posting, but I'm gonna stick to waiting Big W or something. Target I have doubts on since they never stocked the Vita at all and I don't know if they're gonna take a chance on another Nintendo blunder after the likes of the Wii U.

  • Still got the Limited Edition from JB for $189 + Delivery. It's the only one that will go up in value.

  • EB games only price match well known physical stores, not websites.

  • Would get 1 2 Switch, Bomberman and Zelda for launch, but will they have enough stock? Will find out, preordering might be a good idea unless you cant collect.

  • I pre ordered Zelda limited edition through mightyape, Target wouldnt let me pre order the games, but as with the previous target post from stevivor, they have zelda and 1 2 switch priced $10 cheaper than everyone else. Joycons $20 cheaper than EB and $10 cheaper than mighty ape, i will be waiting til launch to see the game pricing from JB/BigW/Target and go from there.

  • Want to buy 3 games from mighty ape, zelda, bomberman and 1 2 switch. On the checkout page, 3 games are listed to be shipped separately and costs $12.99 in total. Used the online chat to talk to one of the staffs, they said pre-order items can't be combined and shipped together because their system isn't allowed and I have to pay 3 postages. So annoying!
