Yea I read that article too, and from it I went to Fitzroy Falls. It would be considered a waterfall if you were an ant.

Best to go to them after a few days of good rain. Otherwise if it's been dry you won't see much of a waterfall.

      • Thank you for that heads up :)

  • Wentworth falls, leura cascades and katoomba falls are all ok after some rain. The falls have a good drop, but you arrive at the top, so yo need to do some walking for the best views.
The cascades are very pretty and have a little picnic area at the top which is great for lunch, but aren't really falls, just a series of little rock cascades, but you can enjoy a nice stroll along beside them.

    • I went to Wentworth Falls last week and it was underwhelming. Best to wait for a day after some heavy rain before going.

      • Yes, so far in January we have only got half are usual rain. It is pretty dry.

    • Thank you :)

    • I'll check this out thank you

  • Belmore Falls in the southern Highlands - near Robertson. May be a little outside the 90min drive requirement, but worth the trip.
