Velocity Points Value for International Flyer

Hi all, due to NAB's new rewards system that doesn't transfer points to QFF, I'm thinking about getting a velocity account.

However, I was under the impression that velocity points were best (or are only able?) to be used on domestic flights. I don't fly domestic, sadly. Always international.

Can velocity points be booked for international flights, and how is the $/point value when using velocity for international flights?

EDIT:
Thanks everyone. I checked and I can definitely use it for international travel. Assumption squashed!

  • Check for yourself by going to https://www.virginaustralia.com/ and tick Use Points + Pay

  • Can definitely be used for international travel, in much the same way Qantas points can (either on their own international flights or those of their partners).

  • +1

Definitely can be used on international flights. Also can be used with domestic flights in other countries with airline partners. I just booked flights in America with Delta using my points, saved me a fortune!

    • Did this too, although Delta is balls. I'll fly Jetblue next time.
