Suggestion for amendment to negative voting button
I think we need a radio dot button with reasons that explicitly asks you why you're casting a negative vote rather than the "if user has a comment then allow negative vote" logic in place at the moment.
The radio dot button would then have the listed reasons as according to the voting guidelines:
- The deal is not the cheapest available [Please list cheaper place]
- Defective product [Please describe]
- Major issues with retailer [Please describe]
+With a comment field below [cannot be empty]
The point of this is to make it not as easy as clicking a button and saying "No deal", to force people to actually adhere to the voting guidelines and justify their action.
Way too many people are using the negative button lately like a youtube thumbs down button.
