The Rep from Kong Computers seems great. I'm in Brisbane but I've never held one of these laptops/seen one in real life. I'm talking about the metabox series.
What is the general thoughts on the build quality/screen quality on the laptops? You can use something like an XPS 15 as a reference point.
I would be doing some gaming (maybe forza apex on windows store) and a lot of adobe photoshop lightroom. I know specwise- these guys are giving you amazing bang for buck!!

I bought a Metabox in June 2013. Negatives first - it's obviously not as sleek as something like an XPS 15. If you're going to be moving it around every day or two, perhaps choose something on the lighter side. Also, the speaker sound barely makes it past "acceptable".
Having said that, it's lasted 3.5 years with original specs, including my exchange semester and at least 50 flights being roughed up in my backpack. The only issue now is that the trackpad is failing to pick up movement at times. I carry a mouse around whenever I travel, but something to keep in mind. It handles games admirably and I have never thought it needed more in the graphics department.
For the price and how much abuse I put it through, I'd say it was well worth it. I am looking to replace it in the next year or so, and would definitely consider another.
