1TB SSD - No Deals?

Hi,

I am currently in the market for a 1TB SSD in 2.5in format for my 5 year old laptop.
I am looking for either the Samsung Evo or the Crucial MX300.

I haven't seen many recent deals around for either of those. Are these models rarely discounted?

I am still holding out for another killer deal like the recent one for a 750GB MX $143 shipped. Nothing will compare to that deal :(

I got the 1TB MX300 for 311.20 during CSUNNY20 from futu online recently

Kogan had that 525gb MX300 for 131.98 (151.98+$20 voucher)and they had the 1TB MX300 for ~350ish but that's sold out now

Haven't read up on the ssd market in over a year are samsung evo's still king or is there a new king on the block?

I remember doing heavy research and concluding that the samsungs were the best quality and bang for buck compared to the rest of the competition with maybe a few exceptions in the kingston and crucial mx range, how has that changed since or recently if there any currently knowledgeable ssd afficionados here to share?

Amazon has 1tb for $320ish ATM.
Might post it if your are keen.
I too am waiting for a deal as my HDD died

The mx300 is very similar to the 850
The SanDisk Ultra II is similar to the 840
