Just a heads up to anyone that has bought 1 of these cars, or looking to buy. With the new Ignis system supporting Android Auto (as well as Apple CarPlay), an update (free) will be made available to owners of the current system to allow it to have Android Auto :)
Unsure of how it will happen, likely done through service departments as part of a service.
Hey sorry meant to reply earlier. No link, just what we've been told in recent training, that there will be some sort of backwards install for the other cars.
No idea of an ETA though sorry :/

Are you able to advise if this has happened yet? The Suzuki Vitara is on my shortlist and as my other car has Android Auto, once you have it you can't turn back :)
Hasn't happened yet afaik.
Don't let it put you off the Vitara though, it's a good car :) cheap too right now

Great news! Although I've heard the 'coming soon' rumours for Android Auto too many times. The Vitara was meant to have it at launch and was even advertised as such, so I'll believe it when I see it.
