  Not much anyone here can do, even if it is really simple to change ebay listing. You either take the risk or you dont, up to you.

  Some you win, some you don't…… Not much you can do if the seller can't/doesn't want to change the listing for YOU.

  He tried but says it dont work what im asking is if i buy it now and he sends a revised invoice less postage if i can still use 10% code.
  I cant see why i cant as im sure if you use from checkout or buy it now you can still use codes.
  Its if he revised the amount required which would be less postage if the 10% off code would still work.

  OK as seller he should be able to add local pickup as postage option with zero postage. If he had that setup you don't have to pay postage in checkout. Assuming you pay with PayPal to take advantage of that coupon you may need to show ID to pickup to reduce buyers fraud risk.

  Or if he suggest you to purchase first - he then be able to change postage cost to 0 by choosing local pickup as postage option as a revised invoice which then you can pay with that discount coupon. If he didn't do it you can ask for cancellation. You can always contact eBay customer service if you have unpaid order dispute. Just make sure you communicate via eBay message not via private email.

    Ok so as he has more than one item maybe thats why he cant offer or change postage to 0.
    But i did see revision today so he must have tried but see no change.
    So maybe my best option is to buy it now and then not pay and have him revise amount and then use my code allowing me use this discount and get free delivery.

    I would hate to affect my account as non payer etc but as you say i can cancel and if he does not agree then get ebay to sort out.

    But im sure ebay will work on his favor and not mine as he will be paying fees to ebay and ebay will want them fees.
    So why would ebay want to side with me or say its ok no need to buy or pay.

      I don't get it, you mentioned Local pickup, so you need to come to his location to get that $0 postage. If it's delivery you're after you need to pay for the seller's postage cost.

        Yes he has a charge for postage im 6km away so be cheaper for me to pick up than pay the postage cost than wait for delivery and risk of damage or lost in post.
        Ok i was overseas,or other side of state or other state in australia then no option to get delivered.
        But as i can drive there in less than 10 mins and pick it up im trying to save the postage cost.
        And if he agree to that which im sure he is i then use my code for futher 10% off.
        So im not only saving on postage i gain 10% off as well.
        And i end up getting it less than what he sell for in store.
        I could say to him i can get 10% off item but he might not want to offer me free postage or pick up or ask more for item.
        He could say instead i offer you 10% off in store.
        But he really cant say that on ebay as the monitor emails and hate this.
        He taking off shipping cost and me paying his asking price he still gets what he wants minus his fees.
        Which he will have done with other sells paid fees anyway.
        If he had said its xx amount in store then maybe i could have done this.
        He will lose out on fees not me by buying through ebay and paypal.
        So seems silly not offering it less in store.
        Normally people charge more for items on ebay to cover costs ie fees.

  A lot of sellers do not offer pick up at all - only postage. You are lucky the seller has agreed to pick up but you should also check then if they are wanting cash on pick up instead of paypal as most pick up items are for cash in hand. If they agree that you can pay paypal then you should commit to buy then ask seller to send you a revised invoice with the postage taken off. You can then use your 10% off code when paying the updated invoice and then contact the seller about pick up details.

  As long as your communication with the seller is clear and they are in agreement with you then it all should work out fine.

    Well in what i believe is he could not add pick up so said buy not pay and will revise with 0 shipping.
    Im less im 6km from seller so reason i want to pick up.
    I asked if item is same price in store and he said yes.
    Im not mentioning i can get 10% off item but if i did i could maybe get that off in store instead.
    But ebay does not like that.
    And i really dont understand why seller would have same item price in store as his fees etc will have himself out of pocket.

    I will gain if i can pick up,pay with paypal with revised invoice and use my code.
    Just need to be sure that's what way he wants to go.
