Grandfathered Telstra prepaid plan transferable?

Does anyone know if Data Pass I which allows Google Play billing and is grandfathered is transferable via change of ownership form?

Also can we both visit our local Telstra store to do the transfer?

The only current Mobile Data Pass is the Telstra Pre-Paid Data Pass II.
I believe you can keep your grandfathered offer when you do the change of ownership, you will retain the existing prepaid plan.
You can do change of ownerships in store. Not too sure if you can do it online as you need ID of both the transferee and the transferrer.

  • Good luck finding a Telstra employee that is prepared to do a change of ownership for a prepaid service for you. Many will say that it is "impossible", but it is a long process with no benefit for them.

  • Why do you need to transfer ownership?

You can do it online see https://www.telstra.com.au/content/dam/tcom/personal/support…

The original owner of the account needs to send in 100 points of ID.

    • I need to transfer ownership as I wish to give it to a stranger and I don't want to be responsible if they turn out to be a terrorist :P
