What Is The Best Ultra-Budget Full-Sized, Non-Retractable Wired Optical Mouse Available in Sydney East?

I need a new wired mouse for everyday use.

Has anyone locally bought a cheapie they'd recommend?

I had bad luck years ago with the Officeworks retractable mini-mouse breaking in a month so I'm now fearful of retractable cables and minis.

All the dirt-cheap models sold within Australia on eBay are based in "Darwin" - which from my experience with shipping times may as well be China or Alaska.

    Using the price range of your examples, I don't think you're going to be getting much variation in quality.

    I don't know what you do for a living, but the value of the amount of time you've spent thinking about this could probably have bought you a few of them already! haha

      Sometimes I think the same thing. If I got paid for the time I spent OzBargaining I could probably buy 10 normally-priced plane tickets to China instead of one that might save me a few hundred dollars…

      But as a freelancer my free time doesn't get paid so I semi-justify it for now :)

      Are the more expensive mice worth it though? My wired Microsoft mouse started dropping out and I never noticed its benefits during use.

    Spend more than 5 dorrahs on a mouse.

      Should not be limited to only $5 for such an important input device.

      Saying that, the BIG W one looks like a Logitech MX knockoff.

      I would suggest the OP troll ebay etc for basic OEM mice from LEnovo Dell HP etc.

      Usually high quality.

        Thank again for the advice. I hate not buying nice and paying twice but I was unlucky with branded mice so I thought to go cheap. Looks like the consensus is to pay more.
