SA/WA did on many occasions have cheaper products than the eastern states stores, so not too sure that this is a good thing. I know that when I moved it was about $400 cheaper to buy my ikea furniture in Adelaide than it would have been if I had waited and gotten in in Sydney.

  • lol… journalists:

"Cebas' Perth and Adelaide stores are around 25,000 square metres and generate similar sales as IKEA's flagship stores in Tempe in Sydney and South Logan in Brisbane."

    1. As much as it would like to be, Logan is not "in Brisbane".
    2. The Ikea store in Logan is hardly in "South Logan". It's in Slacks Creek, which is one of the most northern-most parts of the Logan City Council area. It's about 33km north of the southern-most tip of LCC, and only about 5km to the northern-most border.

Perhaps they meant "in Logan, south of Brisbane"…
