Home Alarm System - Bosch Vs Ness?

Hi, I wanted to upgrade our current home alarm system. Currently shortlisted the Bosch 6000 or the Ness D16xD. Both are 16 zones capable (we need 13 zones as a minimum).

Will be having a mixture of hardwired and wireless detectors/sensors and both system can achieve this. Will need monitoring via smartphone apps and again both system can achieve this.

Both are good systems based on my research.

Just not sure which system I should go for and would like some opinions please. thanks!

I'm using Bosch 6000 with wireless keypad with myalarm subscription. Its doing great have not faced any issues except connecting the keypad to Bosch server due to router traffic issue.

So I suggest Bosch6000.. don't have exp with Ness ( I think Ness has camera systems too but not Bosch)

    • Thanks. 1 vote for Bosch.

I have Ness D8 Deluxe (wired and wireless sensors), not using app but it will call my mobile when the alarm go off. Been working ok… need to set it up properly (delay zones, handover zones etc).

    • Thanks. 1 vote for Ness

  • Looks like it is a par between the bosch and ness….that kinda makes my decision harder :)

  • Which one did you go with OP?
I'm keen to find out as I'm in the process of deciding too.
Would be great if you could also give me insights on the knowledge or recommendation you have for alarm systems.
FYI, I will have 8 cameras outside my house, so I won't need cam on them.
    What is 16 zone capability?
Pretty new to this alarm systems.

    • Talk to so many security people I lost count. Finally talked to one guy who gave me a good explanation. Went with Paradox SP6000 instead.

      • How did you go with Paradox SP6000?
