    • Thank you for the suggestion. i ended up buying the evo+ 64gig version suggested by flickr (:

    • Lol go to that link now and its a laptop

  • I would suggest to buy Evo+ instead of the regular Evo. It is only few $ difference but the read/write and dependability is far ahead. I will also suggest to buy 64GB version as this type support SD up to 64GB. Buy from Futu Ebay for $28 with CATCH20 code (plus 1.30% cash rewards to even lower the price)

    • Ovekill in my opinion. 32gb which is around 4hours at 1080 is more than enough for a dashcam.

        Viofo a119 is 2k or 1080p at 60 frames. You won't get 4 hour with 32gb.

        I think the larger the memory card the better, you might get a scratch on your car and not notice until you get out of your car after a few hours of driving.

        • Fair point, OP is budget conscience though so its a trade off :)

          @Ryanek:

          Agreed, but 64gb card compared to 32gb isn't a lot of money difference.

    • thanks for the suggestion. Just bought one (:

  • Have a read of this

    I went with the Transcend High Endurance on Dick Smith ebay but looks out of stock
    Looks like you can get the Lexar 633x but 32gb is out of stock; only 64gb for $45 with the CATCH20 voucher

    • thanks for the suggestion. my budget was a bit tight so ended up buying evo+ 64 gigs for 28$ after catch20 (:

      • Came across this thread from a Google search. How's the card holding up now? Am also considering a Samsung MicroSD for dash cam use.

        • Hi Sorry my reply might be a bit late. but I've had no problems with the memory card and it is still going strong. you should buy it if you haven't already. Cheers

  • Can I hop on to this conversation and ask what is the current sweet spot for micro sd cards for new current smartphones and tablets.

    I have a Huawei mediapad m3 32gb Wi-Fi only tablet and looking for extra expandable storage.

    I believe it requires class 10 minimum to be effective but I could be wrong.

    Was looking at some 128 and 256 gb micro sd cards on Amazon but wasn't sure if this was the cheapest or best bang for buck.
