Looking for a Food Processor

Looking to buy one that isn't to expensive but also one that won't fail me

Any recommendations or bargains?

  • I haven't seen anyone comment yet. I have one of these and can recommend "only" for soft foods like oranges, bananas, canned grass jelly to make into drinks.
It isn't expensive and won't fail for soft fruits to make into drinks https://www.target.com.au/p/target-mini-chopper/55046473 "Probably will fail for tougher food." ~See comment

TARGET MINI CHOPPER / MINI FOOD PROCESSOR:
+Good for single serve smoothie or single serve drink
+Small and doesn't take up space
    +Lightweight for home use only

-Not durable for taking it to work gym etc.
-No rubber seal in between cup and processor thing
-Needs to be half-full or it will leak when you hold the button. And you must hold the processor down firmly to be able to press button
-While the cup is easy to clean afterwards. The processor isn't and can't be submerged in water. For that I use a wet paper towel to clean it
-I've yet to try but I'm guessing it will fail on chopping up tougher foods. Unless you dice them first and combine with water

    Other notes:
~I mosly make fruit sugary drinks with it. And to make it go faster I put water with it
~Only one speed and the blades aren't sharp. But still does its job for fruit smoothie or drink
~A bit noisy if you hold the button. I use it my own way. I press the button in bursts each every second. Or cover with thick blanket to mask the noise

    • Thank you for your reply

I ended up getting the target food processor for $50 as I only wanted to process sauces-biscuits for dessert bases

I did try out the chopping disk and it worked well enough for me

So glad I didn't spend big yet as I'm still a rookie to cooking
Maybe in the near future xx
